Apparently there were a bunch of Audi R8 Sports cars were spotted at the Xiaomi Mi Store grand opening in D’Pulze Cyberjaya today 29 September 2018. The cars had the Xiaomi and Pocophone F1 which symbolizes the raw speed and capabilities of device which is equipped with top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Today, Xiaomi Malaysia announced that they will officially bring in the much-awaited Mi Max 3 and the latest wearable, the Mi Band 3 into the Malaysia market. Both scheduled for 27 September 2018 release, the Mi Max 3 (4GB+64GB) retails at RM1099 in black, while the wearable is priced RM129 and will be sold at all Authorised Mi Stores, as well as on the company's online store in Lazada and Shopee.

After the official announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, third-party seller extraordinaire DirectD have come out with import versions going for just RM1199 (exactly the price we were thinking). Coming in black and featuring a massive 6.9-inch fullview full HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 5500 mAh battery, this is not the official Mi Malaysia version. However, this hints at a possible lower official price tag if or when the Mi Max 3 comes to Malaysia.

Xiaomi have officially announced their Xiaomi Mi Max 3 at 1699 CNY (~RM1022) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version and at 1999 CNY (~RM1203) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version. Other leaked tech specs have been confirmed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, 6.9-inch 18:9 aspect ratio FHD+ display and a 5500 mAh battery. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it will be available in black, blue and gold colours.
